Biography
Seth Willie was born in Dubbo, NSW on Wiradjuri Country and grew up surrounded by inspiring and comical storytellers in her community. Nanima Mission, or ‘The Mish’ as she calls it, is where Seth developed an array of unique character voices including her popular ‘Aunt Martha’, a sharp-witted and cheeky Elder inspired by her late Nan. Fuelled by a healthy dose of Looney Tunes, classic Disney, and Steve Vizard’s ‘Full Frontal’, Seth became a natural voice and character enthusiast, imitating and performing on demand for her friends and family.
She spent her early career as a sound recordist in the film industry and in 2012 was selected to write and perform for ABC’s ‘Black Comedy’ pilot.
Seth Willie officially kicked off her professional voice acting career in 2021, bringing adorable characters Sissy and Presto to life for Deadly Choices ‘Smokey Joe’ animated series. She has also provided her voice for various TV, Radio, Audiobook, Corporate, Live Events and e-Learning projects – there really are no limits!
Seth Willie specialises in a vibrant tapestry of voices, with her natural ability to adapt, perform on cue and improvise. Seth is a big kid at heart and always brings her dynamic energy to each performance.
